Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need to provide a deposit when I rent a unit from Central Storage? NO. We only require the first months rent at the time of rental, and we also prorate, depending on the day of the month. We will need a Photo ID, current phone number and address, and you will be required to sign a rental agreement.
Will I need to sign a lease? NO. You will be required to sign a RENTAL AGREEMENT. All units are rented on a month by month basis, and can be vacated at anytime, with no obligation. However, we do not issue refunds for early evacuation.
Do I need to provide my own lock? YES.You must provide your own lock and key, and Central Storage does not keep a key to your unit. Always make sure your unit is locked! A Central Storage, LLC will not be responsible for units left unlocked.
Will you give my pin number to anyone I send to my unit, in case I forget? NO. We will only give your private gate pin number to you, and any person you have listed on your account. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you give your pin number and key to other parties, we are not responsible.
What are your payment options? We offer several payment options. In addition to paying during office hours, we offer scheduled monthly payments via Credit/Debit card, payment by phone or a convenient after-hours drop box at our Florence office. We accept cash, check, debit card, Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover. Rent is due on the 1st of every month.
What are your office hours and gate hours? We are open Monday - Friday 9AM to 5PM and Saturday 9AM - 1PM. Gate hours in Florence are 6AM - 9PM And Shoals gate hours 6AM - 9PM, seven days a week.
